Nimu Isabel Wanjui is a Professional Documentary and Travel Photographer as well as a budding Cinematographer who hails from Nairobi, Kenya. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, with a specialization in Human Resources Management. Despite her academic background, she has for the last 3.5 years committed her time and efforts to what she believes is her life’s purpose, Story-telling using Photography and Videography mediums.
Her journey began in 2012 at Mavuno Church where she met her now mentor, Mwarv Kirubi, a renown Kenyan Documentary Photographer. Since then she has explored various genres of Photography including Fashion and Wedding Photography, under the guidance of Emmanuel Jambo.
She went ahead to traverse the Photography waters on her own in January 2015, venturing into Travel Writing and Photography, and a year later into Documentary Photography.
She has been privileged to work with organizations including SusWatch Kenya, Art & Abolition, and, The Star Kenya, to name but a few.
